The Hawai‘i chapter of the American Marketing Association was established in July 1970.

AMA Hawai‘i

Hawai‘i is home to some of the most creative and innovative marketing professionals in the nation, working with a variety of organizations from local start-ups to non-profits to globally-recognized brands, and everything in between. Hawai‘i’s market is uniquely different from nearly everywhere else in the world and our chapter provides support in navigating through the challenges and opportunities our marketers face.

Founded in 1970, AMA Hawai‘i is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and volunteer-run organization with the mission to connect, support, and empower the professionals from across the islands and throughout the Pacific through education and professional development. As a volunteer organization, we rely on the passions and talents of our local marketing community as well as the support of local sponsors to power our monthly events, the Pacific Marketing Conference, and community outreach programs.
