Wednesday, May 28, 2014 – Our Kakaako – Unique events and marketing to revive a community.
AMA Hawai‘i invites you to join Our Kaka‘ako’s development manager for marketing, Erin Kinney, in an “ohana” style breakfast discussion about marketing to the modern day bohemian in the heart of the up-and-coming Kaka‘ako neighborhood.
Erin will talk about how Our Kaka‘ako strategically targets its various audiences and increases awareness about the rapidly growing neighborhood’s businesses through nontraditional marketing. These successful tactics include Honolulu Night Market, Eat the Street, Pow Wow and other events, complemented by aggressive public relations, social media outreach and of course, the beautiful – and sometimes controversial – murals that adorn the area’s walls
